I need invitations – where do I start?

Here are a few questions that can help get you started on creating your invitation:

  • What is the theme of your wedding or event?
  • What colours, shapes, and styles would you like to convey in your wedding or event?
  • How formal will your wedding/event be?
  • What additional information would you like to provide each guest e.g. map, reception information,
    brunch information, and gift registry information?
  • How many invitations will you need?
  • What is your invitation budget?
  • Will you have your invitations printed or can you print and assemble them yourself?
  • Should you send out Save-The-Date-Cards?
  • Is the location and any additional information finalized?
  • Are there any special verses that you would like to incorporate? Photos?
  • Would you like to look at ordering ceremony programs, menus, place cards, seating charts?When should we send out the invitations?Wedding invitations should be sent out six to eight weeks before the event itself.
    If your wedding falls during the holidays or many of your guests are travelling
    from out of town, then ten to twelve weeks is recommended and this gives everyone
    time to prepare.

    Invitations for other events/parties should be sent out 4-6 weeks in advance.

    Save-The-Date-Cards can also be sent out 6 months prior to your event.

    How can we place orders?

    Please contact us via e-mail or phone and will will ship your order as quickly as we can.

    Can we purchase a sample?

    Some samples are available for purchase. If we do not have the exact sample you are
    looking for, we would be happy to send you a few paper swatches from that collection.

    Should we order our Thank You cards at the same time as our invitations?

    We strongly recommend that you do. We can guarantee that the material needed is
    ordered at the same time as your invitations, so we are not faced with backorders
    because of out of stock situations or discontinued product. Most importantly,
    it’s one less headache to deal with once your day is over and the dust has settled.
