Here are a few things to consider when choosing your “green” custom invitations

  • Use Post Consumer Waste or Recycled Paper products.
  • Use Tree-free paper: tree-free is exactly what it sounds like,
    paper that is made without ANY cuttings from trees, directly or
    indirectly. The materials used are cotton rags & agricultural
    residues such as left over crops like banana leaf, rice, wheat
    straw. The benefits of using non-wood sources extend beyond saving
    trees and forest habitat. The production process is itself more
    environmentally sound, requiring fewer chemicals and less energy.
  • Use flower seed embedded paper so each guest can plant your
    invitation.
  • Ink coverage is often overlooked when making eco-choices, but is
    another easy way to reduce the eco-impact of print production.
    Invitations that are solid in color with white print are printed
    using the reverse print technique and the 100% coverage for these
    solid-background designs emit harmful toxins to our environment.
